Network Careers role with the Candidate

We know that when considering a relocation, you need information and contacts. We can help with both.

Network Careers’ role is to assist you by serving as a resource of information and helping “open doors” for you by arranging informational interviews. These informational interviews are designed to connect you with individuals in your field who have contacts and/or information that will accelerate the networking process so critical to your job search.

We’ll provide a local resource for you to meet with - or call with questions, concerns and ideas pertaining to your job networking. We’ll help to identify key Twin Cities employers, professional contacts and appropriate community resources.

Our services are customized based on the needs of each individual candidate and may include:

  • an intake interview - a face-to-face meeting or a phone conversation to understand your needs
  • resume review and evaluation
  • job market research and identification of key employers and professional contacts
  • setting up and scheduling of targeted informational interviews in your field
  • preparation for interviews, feedback and follow up, and counseling throughout the process.

Our candidates typically find the process both enjoyable and helpful. Most say that our services help them make an informed decision about relocating and makes the transition less daunting.

We will work hard networking and setting up targeted informational interviews for you. At the same time, you will also be working hard to develop your network, too. If we work as a team, you will be off to a great start in the Twin Cities community. It can take time to find the right position. Network Careers’ will be here to guide and support you through this process.
